apt-get reports "The following packages have been kept back"

Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose-modules-generic

Every time I run apt-get upgrade, I get the following output:

When I do an apt-get install virtualbox-ose-modules-generic, I get:

These are the package versions I have installed:

linux-generic: 2.6.24.19.21
virtualbox-ose: 1.5.6-dfsg-6ubuntu1
virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-19-generic: 24.0.4
virtualbox-ose-modules-generic: 24.0.4

Oh, and I'm using Hardy Heron, BTW.

VirtualBox works fine, and of course it's correct that it doesn't install the 2.6.24-20 packages for a 2.6.24-19 kernel, but the error message in apt-get is bugging me. I couldn't find anything on this on Google or Launchpad, so I thought I'd report it. If you think this behavior is correct, at least other people will find the answer.
