I don't think it is a duplicate. I think there is a problem with the hash of the download. (Maybe on the Oracle side... ???) The error message is very different from #1605799.

Yeah, I just looked at the file "debian/postinst" and it has the SHA-256 embedded in it.
This:
 hash=aeee163c3d1bea8d3de9647d2ce6771fbf0e873bd20de6b39f84ef9d2de4b0c9
Should be:
 hash=251cb4ca2d57469e40094babdd2d7ecaf1983c0f2fb12662dccab32f277e3844

I just manually ran sha256sum and checked the file on the virtualbox download site here:
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/5.0.24/SHA256SUMS

This is the file:
