Comment 2 for bug 516062

Please check if there is a merge already waiting on sponsoring (see bug #509900).
My merge contains also the committed (but not uploaded) changes from lp:ubuntu/vim and some other additional changes (like fixing that the python interpreter support gets really built-in).
