Breezy is in active development, and is where the developpers currently do their work; which probably explains why this is fixed in that release.

Hoary is currently supported, but only for security patches and fixes for critical bugs that could cause data loss; since this bug is neither, sadly I don't think it will ever be fixed in Hoary.
