But i can get to the vimtutor through the help screens of vi(m):

invoke vi
type ":help" as offered
move the cursor down onto "|tutor|", activate it with CTRL-], which opens up "usr_01.txt", "*01.3* Using the Vim tutor" "*tutor* *vimtutor*"
