Bug Description
The varnish-modules source package fails to build only on armhf, succeeding on all other architectures.
Upgrading varnish to 7.1.0-6 (bug #1971504) makes varnish-vmod-digest uninstallable on all architectures, and causes an autopkgtest regression for varnish-modules on armhf (https:/
libvmod-re2 has always failed to build in Ubuntu on armhf, and in Debian on all architectures except amd64, arm64, ppc64, ppc64el and s390x. Starting with Ubuntu Kinetic the package fails to build on all architectures (see https:/

The build failure of the libvmod-re2 source package in Ubuntu 22.04 on armhf (https:/ /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ libvmod- re2/2.0. 0-1/+build/ 23161233) is due to a different issue, that I reported as https:/ /bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 1013871. This issue appears to be related to the bitness of the platform, and this is consistent with the build failing in Debian in all 32-bit architectures.
