Note that udev has seen the device, and indeed as you can use manual mount of /dev/sda1 has made the devices:

  UDEV [1256891017.380067] add /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1f.1/host0/target0:0:0/0:0:0:0/block/sda/sda1 (block)

So that looks like blkid is the issue here.
