I'm using 6.10 and I am having similar problems. During bootup and shutdown there are times when the screen is scrambled. Also during use within Gnome I'm having a problem where any progress indicators fill in with white (which is the same as the background) and thus I cannot see how far a task has gotten. I have installed 6.10 on my Dell Optiplex GX110 with built in video (detected as an 82810E DC-133 CGC).
