2012-10-22 08:43:05 Launchpad Janitor debian-installer (Ubuntu): status New Confirmed
2012-10-22 08:44:43 Nick Moffitt description We just now installed a quantal MAAS server via USB key from this image: 4bd3270bde86d7e4e017e3847a4af485 ubuntu-12.10-server-amd64.iso We successfully made it through the installation (creating a new MAAS) and rebooted. However, when logging in via ssh or at the console, we get kicked out because /home/maas (our chosen username) does not exist. The password succeeds. Here's an example via SSH: $ ssh maas@my-maas.example.com maas@my-maas.example.com's password: The programs included with the Ubuntu system are free software; the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright.
