Hmm, none of these logs show the error message mentioned in the title, and in fact it looks like X installed properly. What appears to have happened is that the upstart service was not running, and that caused other things to fail:
start: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to socket /com/ubuntu/
invoke-rc.d: initscript hal, action "restart" failed.
dpkg: errore nell'elaborare xserver-xorg (--configure):
il sottoprocesso vecchio script di post-installation ha restituito lo stato di errore 1
