Comment 36 for bug 430125

Had the same issues last night, puterfreeze!
This mornings updates done through aptitude and the emergency console got the system booting again.
It does seem rather undtable and I had my first Kernel Panic in about 1 year.
I have the udevd symlink issues as well.
