This bug is also effecting the MAAS 1.7.1 deployment of Ubuntu 14.04 onto a diskless server with access to iSCSI LUN, as described in https://bugs.launchpad.net/curtin/+bug/1425264/.

I've marked LP#1425264 as a dup of this bug.
