The ACPI for that laptop seems pretty broken:
POWER_SUPPLY_CHARGE_NOW=-1000

You should report this as a bug against the kernel at bugzilla.kernel.org. The laptop lacks energy_* information.

Reopen this bug if the kernel developers think that this is actually a bug in UPower.
