I hope I know the admin password I have to type it to sign into the
computer ( Its my Laptop ) and have to use it to start Firestarter (
firewall ) plus I have to type it in to use synaptic package manager and
some packages when installing them
from the Ubuntu resource center . . . I have used Root at times to get
things done . .
The version 11.xx has forgotten that laptops have different key boards
than a desktop ! ! . . I have lost the mouse in 11.10 and had to push
the power button and restart
Secondly I do not like the icons floating around and moving around
sliding off screen only in 11.04 is there a setting for classic Ubuntu
in 11.10 they did not add it . . Some one must think I want all that
crap on my screen . . I like it as it is a clean window there are only 4
icons on my desktop Quicken ( in wine ) a windows share folder a folder
with 3-D home design ( a Home depot windows program for making drawing
of home insides I use it for making drawers, shelves, and other wooden
item ) and a folder with stuff from my camera's I used for making a
movie and putting on Youtube
I did add firestarter, System Monitor, Virus scan, ABI, and thunderbird
to the tool bar as they get used a lot . .
And the File manager will not let me open it either come up I have to
get to the file via Root only !
