Hello, I've encountered this same problem. Here's the error message I get:

Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/hotkey-setup_0.1-17ubuntu3_i386.deb'

The upgrade aborts now. Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.

subprocess new pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
