When you run the commands Files1-2-3 will be located on the desktop. When you come back to launchpad make sure you select the option to "Add attachment or patch". Then select those 3 files from the desktop and upload them here.

i am having the same problem, i just installed 10.04 and it looks like i had a problem with the paulsbo kernel. update manager then offered an upgrade to 10.10 which i accepted. the upgrade failed. i followed your instructions above, capturing the errors in updateErr1, updateErr2 and updateErr3, which i zipped since only 1 attachment could be added below.

Sorry for incomplete comment in #8. I run the above mentioned commands for File1-2 and 3. But File1 and File2 are blank so not able to attach them and done with attaching the File3.

Hi, my problem continues. Through synaptic I have cleaned the older kernels. I have got only 2.6.32.28.32 version. When I want install the 10.10 upgrade shows the following message:
