The dell-mini project manages the custom distribution that comes preinstalled with the dell mini. This distro is based on the Ubuntu Netbook Remix and thus is strictly designed to accommodate the small screen and the low power intel architecture. The generic version of Ubuntu is not designed with that in mind.

So for this reason, your bug is marked invalid for the dell mini project. However it is still open for the update manager in vanilla ubuntu. Eventually if you really need to run Jaunty on the mini to install the netbook remix version of it.
