Comment 77 for bug 24061

Bug 997200 has some details about improvements that could be made to update-manager.

The fix for apt is now available in precise-proposed and details regarding testing can be found in bug 346386. I'm going to set the Precise task to Fix Released rather than risk forgetting to close this bug when apt moves to precise-updates.
