Thanks for the information. As noted above this type of error is often a problem at the server end and tends to disappear once the server is fixed. The best bet is probably to retry later today or tomorrow. Just to be sure you could post the actual text of the error message if you can regenerate it. Then we can check if it is the central Ubuntu repositories or one of the mirror sites.
