Managed to install 8.04 and it kept hanging on the starting screen, unable to log in and do anything. I've gotten the follwing message a couple of times:
BusyBox v1.1.3 (debian1:1.1.3-5ubuntu9) Build in shell. Enter 'help'....
(initramfs)
So, i am clueless. I rebooted and manage to get in by using GRUB and started up in recovery mode wich told me the following:
Check root = bootarg cat /proc/cmdune
or missing modules, devices /proc/modules Is /dev
ALERT!: /dev/disk/by-uuid/8c9b8a04-54f0-4579-8e5d-5efec8afd02e does not exist. Dropping to shell.
Now i am using 8.04 now without that much problems, still i have no idear on how to solve this matter. Can anyone help me out?
