with every apt action I take I now get the following result:

 libflickrnet2.1.5-cil
 mono-runtime
 libmono2.0-cil
 libmono-winforms2.0-cil
 libmono1.0-cil
 libmono-winforms1.0-cil

seems to have something to do with this:
