To any future readers of this bug: please do not add further comments here; instead, paste the output of the following commands into http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/:

- ip -6 address
- ip -6 route
- host security.ubuntu.com # [or nslookup/dig if you don't have bind9-host installed]
- mtr -r -c 10 [a working address]
- mtr -r -c 10 [a non-working address]

Then email <email address hidden> using the subject "security.ubuntu.com unreachable via IPv6", and provide a link to your pastebin results.
