I use gutsy and everyday update my packages. A few days ago the bug disappeared. Today i.e. after my update of yesterday (about 22:00 UTC on October 16) I get that error again.
Trying to find a workaround I played with things I find mentioned in ld.so manpage. This had an impact:
/etc/ld.so.nohwcap When this file is present the dynamic linker will load the non-optimized version of a library, even if the CPU supports the optimized version.
If I touch /etc/ld.so.nohwcap I can execute my program and do not get any error. If I remove that file I get the Inconsistency error message. If I touch the file again, the error goes away.
