There seems to something fishy going on.
When upgrading from feisty to gutsy I had to reinstall programs to get them working. One example is openoffice calc was segfaulting, but oowriter was ok.. very funny.
oocalc: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-open.c: 260: dl_open_worker: Assertion `_dl_ debug_initialize (0, args->nsid)->r_state == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!
after "sudo apt-get install --reinstall openoffice.org-calc" it worked ok.. funny
There're other programs I had to reinstall to get them working after the upgrade (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GutsyUpgrades#head-3cb12417f0af7f24d4a34f2ae4040bf791c42f52)
