This is probably related to the new animation when installing apps (the icon flying to the Launcher), because it only happens when the Software Center is set to lock new apps to the Launcher.

Hard to find a solid test case for this bug, as it was machine-specific as well.
1. Install any application from Software Center
-> Verify that no visual glitches (window hiding, disappearing, graphical artifacts) appear.
