Bug Description

Now that we have Super + Shift + arrow keys to switch ws, it's pretty annoying.

After discussing with design, we will do something similar than with the HUD pending fix, meaning if you super + something else, the overlay should disappear.

Removing from the priority list right now, we reverted today to the previous keybindings with super for switching ws making that bug still valid, but not as important.

I just updated to the latest and greatest (Feb 28 14:00 UTC) and this issue still exists. Having the "Keyboard Shortcuts" popup in the following scenario is very very annoying

1. Switching workspaces (Super+Shift+Curser Key)
2. Moving windows to different workspace (Super+Alt+Curser key)
3. Maximise (full screen and half screen) (Super + curser keys)

Using:
 - unity 5.4.0-0ubuntu2
 - compiz 1:0.9.7.0~bzr2995-0ubuntu5

I consider this a serious usability problem so I suggest up up the importance to *high*.

The fix has not been released yet. They're in a Beta freeze at present which means only approved fixes can go out. Expect to see this after the Beta is released tomorrow.

Not sure that the priority is Medium if the fix hasn't been released.
As it stands, it's unusable and breaks the usage of workspaces for over a week. Not very in line with keeping 12.04 stable throughout the cycle ;)

This is extremely annoying as I like to use the super+arrow keys to maximize my windows. Still a problem on unity : unity 5.8.0-0ubuntu2

And I've tried everything to make the overlay go away (it would be good if Esc was made to work for this?). I think opening the dash might be the only way to make it go away.

This bug is a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/934062. They both refer to the issues of the shortcut overlay appearing whenever super + keyboard shortcut is pressed.
