Hey, that's super! Any chance of a PPA to try out?

Except that I would also need the http://sarvatt.com/downloads/patches/byegeis.patch patch to turn off geis, since I installed xorg-edgers, which comes with xserver 1.11, under which unity crashes at startup due to the missing multi-touch support, and I can't uninstall xorg-edgers now due to a bug in ppa-purge to do with multi-arch. :(
