In order to avoid this bug becoming a vague never-ending discussion about hearsay desktop performance, I have updated the bug title and description to be more specific and reproducible. Now the bug is confirmed.
If you can't reproduce the bug using the exact test case in the Bug Description then please don't add any more comments to this one and log a new bug instead.
