Bug Description

On WS 1 open a terminal, minimise
Move to workspace 2, open a terminal
Move back to WS 1, click on terminal icon in the launcher, nothing happens

The only way to recall the min terminal on WS 1 is either open another terminal on WS 1 or close the terminal on WS 2
ADDED - with the return of scale > window picker for window group working on ALL workspaces (bug 811744) the min. window can also be now accessed by clicking on on launcher icon on any WS other than the one where the min. window is, in Ex. above any but WS 1

For the most part this seems fixed with unity (4.24.0-0ubuntu1) , certainly as to the orig. description

I can reproduce this is in unity 4.22.0-0ubuntu3. When will 4.24.0-0ubuntu1 hit the Oneiric repo?

And I'm sad to report that this has again been broken with 4.24.0-0ubuntu2 - so
It works with 4.24.0-0ubuntu1, breaks again with 4.24.0-0ubuntu2

My use case is that I open a Chrome window on the first virtual desktop for a set of web content, and then I open a second Chrome window on the second virtual desktop for different set of content. If I minimize the Chrome window on the first virtual desktop I cannot restore it by left-clicking on the Unity launcher.

Can also confirm that this does not occur with 4.24.0-0ubuntu2b1
(hopefully it survives 4.26
