Binary package hint: dash
Highlight some text such as a command in a browser or other how-to-guide, and copy to clipboard.
Press ALT+F2
Attempt to paste the contents of the clip either with CTRL+V or middle mouse click.
It doesn't work.

Hi,
When you raised this issue, did Launchpad not suggest duplicates? This bug is a duplicate of, and has nearly the same title as this one: https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ unity/+ bug/736222
Anyway, I'm more curious as to whether it did or not rather than criticising for raising a duplicate, so don't worry too much about it.
