Comment 32 for bug 756510

I have same issue with Unity in 11.04 (no issue in Gnome Classic).

If I have a one window of any program open, no problem usually. When I start getting multiple windows, its like some sort of limit is reached and further windows are rendered white. If i resize windows to make them smaller, it fixes the issue sometimes, but when maximised or made larger they go to being rendered white.

See attached screenshot for example. Firefox is rendered white on the right hand side, but if I resize it to make it smaller it renders correctly. I am also running the propriety nvidea driver and have dual display.
