Binary package hint: unity

What happens is that after some time, the launcher stops hiding/dodging even if it's set to do so. When it happens, the launcher boundary seems to have even some edge resistance/attraction.
This happens to me quite often as I leave my computer on for long times. The only remedy (without any console commands) seems to logout/login.
Please see the screenshot. I'll try to get a unity.log file when I can.
