Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

1104 alpha 3, file manager hangs, usually it works the first time and then it hangs on all subsequent tries. Only fix is a restart and then the process repeats. It work fine in alpha 2, I cant pin down what update cause it to occur in alpha 3.

I can reliably recreate this using today's latest updates (9 march) simply by clicking on a dock icon, dragging it out and down then releasing it.

The same here. This is happening because after the single hold timeout (1 second), the quicklist tries to open. But the Launcher is getting the icon by the mouse position. When we do a drag and drop to outside the launcher, there is no icon on the mouse position.

the issue is known and there is a fix in bug 731096 which hopefully will be included in today's update.
