I'm seeing this too. Installed: 5.20.0-0ubuntu3 .
The machine wakes up with an unresponsive desktop. Xorg seems to be using 100% CPU, nothing else significant. Killing the compiz process allows the session to recover to the screensaver password unlock screen.
