1) The kernel spamming userspace with udev messages on mako+maguro (grouper doesn't appear to be affected but not independently verified yet).
2) Upstart not releasing memory once the kernel has finished spamming userspace (artificially forced by running "stop upstart-event-bridge" as user 'phablet').
