Bug Description

If Nautilus is open on a location that is not '~' , when clicking the launcher on the unity laucher bar it opens '~' when it should focus on the already opened window.

When 2 windows are open, it will focus on the last used one instead of launching a new Nautilus instance.

This is a bit confusing. Why does it open a new Nautilus instance when I have 1 aready open? Why does it not open a new instance when I have 2?

Description:

Nautilus opens a 2nd instance when the location of the first instance is not the user's home, will focus on the already opened instance if it is.
Nautilus does not reproduce the same behaviour if there are already 2 instances open, it will focus on the last used instance instead, no matter the current location of any of the instances.

Desired behaviour:

If a Nautilus instance is already running it should focus on that instance no matter the current location that instance is at the moment you click the launcher or open the last focused (used) Nautilus window. Fifefox does not open a new window if the current tab is not the default home page does it? It just opens the one you are already using. Why would Nautilus do it then? If I need another Nautilus window I can right click and select a quick shortcut to a location.
