Hi. Any progress on this? My system is failing very often now. It might be related to:

* Some sys update I performed last days
* I'm using JDownload (a java based app) all the time.

I realized that Chrome gets unstable before the crash (tabs don't work anymore and I have to use it through shortcuts, and rendering issues). Restarting it doesn't work, only restarting the Ubuntu session. So it does JDownloader: windows and alerts (like the captcha one) fails in the rendering.
