I also have these errors in ~/.xsession-errors, plus a bunch of others.

Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I wonder if this is related. Google suggests that all these are somehow related to NVIDIA (my computer has an intel graphics chipset)
