Hi,
Running Ubuntu 12.04 with unity, I found it VERY difficult and annoying to resize a window by grabbing the edges, especially when I need to discuss my work with other people and they try to grab the window to show me something.
Such a simple task should be easy for people using Ubuntu AND ESPECIALLY for the ones who DON'T, so they don’t get a wrong prejudice on Ubnutu/Linux systems before actually experiencing it. Unity is supposed to help democratizing Linux systems if I’m right...
I tried some workarounds, they work fine but :
- as I said, people not using it everyday won’t know about AltF8, AltMiddle
- changing the visible borders via metacity works fine, but windows become very ugly with a 3-8 px border.
So the point of comment #27 is right : visible borders and grabbable borders are two different things, and both should exist.

Thank you for working on it, regards
