Sorry, but I don't understand the process for a package to become available in the repositories. I keep seeing messages here on this bug report saying "fix released", but I haven't actually seen any fix.

Around when will UIM 1.5.7 be available for download?

I'm dying to be able to use Firefox without it crashing.
