Binary package hint: ufw

Hi all,
       I had installed ufw quite some time back. Today I decided to take a look at it. ufw 0.13 as of now. The problem is simple. I am not able to start it. Also ipv6 here is blacklisted. This is the error which I get on the system.

shirish@Mugglewille:~$ sudo ufw enable
ERROR: problem running init script

Even trying the start & stop doesn't get me anywhere. Looking for help/advise on what to expect.
