I'm surprised that sometimes the boot process is not successful, because here it succeeds every time. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer, sometimes it shows the message that it is waiting for a few logical volumes to turn up, and sometimes a recovery console is started, because the root partition is missing. If i exit from the console, the computer reboots, but if I do nothing, it continues booting quite fine after a few seconds.
