OK, I've attached the data you requested. Sorry for forgetting the kernel log before. I did have the cdrom in /etc/fstab and I removed it. I thought it fixed the problem at first because after I rebooted and inserted the DVD it automounted, but it only did it once. I tried rebooting numerous times after that and it never automounted again. So here come the logs ...
