 AttributeError
"'NoneType' object has no attribute 'stop'"

dobey (dobey)
affects: ubuntuone-installer (Ubuntu) → ubuntuone-control-panel (Ubuntu)

After not using ubuntu one for almost a year, because of problems back then, I though I would give it another shot.

Too bad I encounter this exact error almost 5 months after this initial bug report.

Tried this on a fully up to dat precise install and get the error as described by the initial reporter.

I also still get this error on 12.04 fully up to date.

This was reported nearly a year ago...

Just going to use dropbox

I had the same problem! Then I just started the launchpad in the terminal with:
ubuntuone-control-panel-qt
and it works just fine till now.
I know it does not solve the bug itself, but this is the first forum post you'll find googling the bug, so I think it will be nice to find a way to avoid it.
