Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu One better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect 888076 and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

I think that I am facing the same situation/problem here.

U1 tries to upload some large files (about 5 MB each) but without success. Uploading stops before the completion and then starts from the beginning again.

Thanks for listening.

Just for your information.

The above mentioned problem occurs on my machine running Ubuntu 12.04. I had about 10 files with sizes between 5 and 10 Mb that they were impossible to upload to the cloud.

Then, I moved these files to my windows XP machine (that runs U1 also) and the files uploaded to the cloud with no problems at all.

Seems that the problem appears only on the pc running Ubuntu.

Hi vasanag,

Thanks for your report. But it would be great if you could file a separate bug for your problem.

Can you do the following in order to provide us with important details that will help us determine the root cause of this issue?

1. Open Applications->Accessories->Terminal and run: echo -e "[logging]\nlevel = DEBUG" > ~/.config/ubuntuone/logging.conf; u1sdtool -q; u1sdtool -c
2. Copy files into your ~/Ubuntu One folder
3. Attach ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon.log and ~/.cache/ubuntuone/log/syncdaemon-exception.log to the new bug report

Note that attaching syncdaemon.log will show filenames you are attempting to sync with Ubuntu One. If you do not want this to be public, please mark the bug as private and this bug report will only be available to you and the Ubuntu One team.

Thank you,
Leo
