For Interpid, please create wallpapers like warty-final-ubuntu.png and heron-simple.png which can be concatenated horizontally continuously on the compiz 3D workspace cube and other workspace effect. That is the left side of the wallpaper can be concatenated seamlessly with the left side of the same wallpaper.
