I really don't understand why this is happening, but it seems like maybe something to do with the servers not being available. It would be useful if there was a button to "try again later" or something. As it is I have to go all the way back to the beginning of the process. Going back to the beginning is not a big deal, but maybe there is a better way?

Every time (so far) I try to use update manager to load 8.04 LTS I get to the "Distribution Upgrade" screen with a bunch of messages like this:
