Bug Description

Trere should be easy way to install VA-API helper packages for nVidia, AMD and Intel GPU's (I don't have information about level of Broadcom Crystal HD support in Ubuntu).

I propose to provide item in Jockey that help to install xvba-va-driver or vdpau-va-driver or libva-intel-vaapi-driver if supported hardware detected.

I'm afraid I can't do this, as xvba-va-driver is in multiverse and vdpau-va-driver is in universe. Both nvidia and fglrx are in main and, as such, they cannot depend on packages that are not in main.

Maybe there possible other way to make install of acceleration video support easy?

Just for example:
Now Jockey show nVidia or AMD proprietary drivers in the list, when there is supported hardware and when drivers is available. So maybe when multiverse/universe repo is avilable AND there is supported hardware AND proprietary driver is already istalled, Jockey will suggest to install one of this packages (xvba-va-driver or vdpau-va-driver) as "Additional package for video acceleration"?

Please think about it.

summary: - VA-API packages helper should be installed with the proprietary drivers
+ Trere should be easy way to install VA-API helper packages

I don't know how to deal with multiverse packages like xvba-video and cedarview-vaapi-driver.
