This problem also occurs in Lubuntu 12.10 installer...
Installer crashes while showing slideshow

My hardware:
AMD Athlon XP 1700+
1.75GB ram
40GB HDD

after uninstalling ubiquity-slideshow-lubuntu installation works fine.

i think this problem occurs because my cpu doesn't support SSE2 instructions
