time zone map: graphical mismatch of selected city and highlighted time zone

Bug Description
During installation of today's lubuntu i386 build:
Clicking somewhere near the Russian cities Omsk and Novosibirsk (just in the middleof the country; also happens at other places) marks these cities by a red dot, but this red dot does not lie inside the automatically selected time zone highlighted in green color.
Expected: Red dot lies inside green time zone.
